What he tried to catch was far beyond me.
With his stormy eyes and hair tempest tossed,
He reigned in his nets to find what he had lost...'

About this piece: Played around with that 'woven' texture in Apo that I've seen so many other fractal artists on here do. And I have to say, the end results, though not expected are still spectacular. Played with the colour scale just a little, not too much.

Rendering programme used: Apophysis 2.05b. Border work, colour scale for border, and texting done in Adobe CS-2.

The poetry excerpt used: Is original and written by your's truly: Kirin Shirain. It comes from a much longer piece entitled: 'Neptune's Folly'.

Excellent texture to this. Really gives the feel of a wet fishing net that's been cast into the water. Superb job, Fyrebird. :)
